The group ecorec fully utilizes the potential of country specialists who have been deeply involved in the business specifics of each country and its markets. Therefore, the approach of our company is to have a local expert acting as managing director supported by either Jochen Aigner or Christian Abl as second managing directors who bring the international expertise from waste management onto the local market.
The reagional headquarters of the ecorec group for Central and Eastern Europe is located in Bratislava (Slovakia). The core management team consists of Jochen Aigner, Regional Manager, and a team of specialists with international experience.
Jochen Aigner, Regional Manager, ecorec Eastern Europe
Jochen Aigner has been Regional Manager for ecorec Eastern Europe since the end of 2004 where he coordinates activities of the whole group throughout Central and Eastern Europe. He studied marketing and management at Fachakademie in Linz (Austria). During his studies he held various positions in waste management companies. Between 2000 and 2003 he worked for Rieger Entsorgung, one of the leading companies acting on the waste management market in Austria.
Before joining ecorec Eastern Europe, Jochen was a Member of the Management Board of former Holcim Central Eastern Europe, covering the countries Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary. He was in charge of the Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials Department.
